when I was young I already knew! I'll become a Chef.
At the age of 16 I started culinary school and after that a pastry education.
I worked in different kinds of hotels, restaurants and bakeries in the Netherlands.
In 2013 I moved to London to work in one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants and learned some more afternoon tea pastries at a 5* hotel in Hyde park.
After a couple years in the big city it was time for a change. In 2015 I had a little taste of the Caribbean. Worked at "At Sea" in that time the best restaurant of the Caribbean.
In 2019 I settled again on Bonaire, and in the COVID time I started for myself as a Private Chef and freelance Chef.
Local products like the fresh fish, goat and tropical fruits from middle America with a combination of the freshed ingredients from Europe make a perfect international cooking style.
My passion in the kitchen is pastry and products that need a lot of time and attention to make it into something special where smoke is one of the most important ingredients.
